Office Assistant / Security Dispatcher Job Description
Job Title: Office Assistant / Security Dispatcher

Reports To: Office Manager / Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Office Assistant / Security Dispatcher provides administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient office and field operations. This role involves handling office tasks, maintaining records, real-time communication with field staff and assisting employees with general administrative needs.

Schedule:
  • 8-hour shifts from 5 PM to 1 AM
  • Weekends Required
  • Swing shift
  • Holidays
  • Overtime
Work Location: In person

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Duties
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Maintain and update office records, files, and databases.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Handle office supply inventory, ordering, and restocking as needed.
  • Support various departments with administrative tasks and special projects.

Security Dispatch Duties

  • Answer and prioritize incoming radio and phone communications from field officers and clients.

  • Dispatch security personnel to calls for service and incidents.

  • Relay critical information promptly between officers, supervisors, and management.

  • Follow company procedures for emergencies, incident escalations, and after-hours responses.

This role requires high skills levels in organization, customer service, time management, attention to detail, and a commitment to company success.

Extensive training will be provided by company management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
  • Strong computer usage knowledge (Microsoft Office) and ability to type at least 45 WPM.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

* Typing test will be administered during the interview. A minimum of 45 WPM is required.
